"Happy Moments - A Parade"

Happy Moments
by
Carolyn Altman
The idea of this painting began with a parade during the 4th of July celebration in Clarendon, Texas.
There was a couple dressed in cowboy and cowgirl attire on stilts. I took a picture of them and in the picture on the left sitting on the side walk was a friend of mine in a large straw hat. I changed the faces of the "stilt couple" to faces of my parents when they were young. The little girl to the right is my sister's granddaughter. The small child in the middle is me, when I was two. I look at this painting and it just makes me smile, so I call it Happy Moments.

I was asked by a young mother-to-be to create a baby memory book with a western theme.
This started a whole line of memory books which I now call Glory Bee Baby.
Two of the books are Retro Cowgirl and Little Buckaroo.
Each book has art work for your child's room.
