What would an angel be saying to a gardener? Perhaps, the angel would talk about the tiny seeds in his hand. About how the seeds grow to be a mighty tree or a delicate flower. Maybe the angel would say "stand firm in your belief that the seeds you put in the ground will grow and produce fruit to feed you". Even still, the angel could be comparing this planting of seeds to the instructions that are given to us in 1 Corinthians 15:58, That if you "stand firm and let nothing move you and always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. "
My angel in the garden is titled "Faith Like a Mustard Seed" Matthew 17:20. Today, I read 1 Corinthians 15:58 and decided it fit well with this angel in the garden. I have thought a lot lately about being strong in the Lord, glad I read this today. May I always stand firm and have faith.
